Finishing up the alternator swap.
This part was easier than I thought it would be.

1. Here is the original alternator. |
|

2. Removed from the brakcet, ready for the new alternator. |

3. The plugs on the new alternator are turned the wrong way, so I have to clock it. |
|

4. New and old for comparison. |

5. Here is what the case looks like with the cover off. |
|

6. Now, it is clocked correctly. |

7. Here are the old plugs. |
|

8. I opened up the harness to take out the old charge wires what I am not using anymore. |

9. Under the battery tray. |
|

10. This little wire is what used to carry all the power from the alternator. |

11. The new alternator in place. |
|

12. Under the battery tray with the harness wrapped back up. |

13. Not a great picture, but this is where the megafuse will be mounted. |
|

14. The new wiring hooked up to the alternator. |

15. Wire on left is from alternator, on right is out to the battery. |
|

16. Here is the 175 amp fuse. |

17. It all hooks up at the starter solenoid. |
All in all, not a hard upgrade.
