Seeing this car got me exicted, Ther owner swapped in the same kind of engine that I am putting into my car. He is not using the turbo though, and left the suspension closer to stock.

Here is the guy's description:

This is a 1970 MG Midget completely rebuilt from the ground up. The car has a Nissan SR20DE engine with dual Webber carburetors. There is close to $30,000 in parts in this car, all receipts included. It is SCCA legal and ready to race. Included with the car are quite a few additional parts for the engine, etc. This car has NEVER been raced and is ready to go.

1. Flares and blackout trim gives it that racecar vibe.

2. The whole front end may be fiberglass.

3. The car sits lowered a bit.

4. A nice brushed aluminum custom dash.

5. Racing seats.

6. The shifter is a bit back from stock, and has a bent handle to compensate.

7. Fuel cell, battery, and some kind of resuvior in the boot.

8. The engine seems to fit fairly well.

9. The packaging is clean enough that it could be stock.

10. Dual webbers look right at home both on the engine, and in a Midget.

11. Good clearance in front of the engine.

12. The rear suspension uses a panhard bar.

13. A very tidy interior.

14. Nice minilites.

15. Spare clutch, maybe?

16. Un-used wiring.

17. Injector rail.

18. Some kind of limited slip unit. Qualfie?

19. Original cam position sensor.

20. Intake Plenum.

21. Favtory exhaust manifold, and some cooling gadget.

22. Old ECU.

23. Nice looking little racecar.

24. Fiberglass boot lid as well.
I like seeing this kind of thing. It makes me happy to see similar work to mine.
