I saved this a long time ago, because I was planning on doing something similar.
It's not exactly like I would do it, but I still think it's fairly tasteful.

1. I kind of like how he took the internals of the rubber bumper, cleaned them up and had them chromed. |

2. I would have fitted an earlier model bumper, but this works too. |

3. He also did a small bumper across the front. |

4. Plus he filled in the large bumper bracket holes and put in small front markers from a bugeye. |

5. Another rear shot. He tastefully incorporated the earlier "Midget" trunk badge. |

6. The whole car is finished nicely. |

7. The interior is nice too. |

8. And he got a nice wood rimmed wheel. |

9. He's got a weber, and probably headers. |

10. The whole engine compartment is nice too, but it looks like he just capped the heater. |

11. Fit and finish turned out well. |

12. Nice new interior panels. |

13. I'm just rambling at this point, but it was all pretty nice. |

14. Color matched top frame, and seat belt reels. |

15. Nice new top. |

16. Looks like he got the stainless license plate mount. |

17. He must have cut off the stock front bumper mounts. |

18. He refinished the wheels nicely as well. |

19. Mountney is a good old British brand. |

20. Chromed shifter ring. |

21. I think his use of badges are fairly tasteful. |

22. The side badge is in good shape. |

23. The little bumper looks ok, but it's not the style I would have used. |

24. From the looks of it those side vents are just the magnetic stick-ons. |
There will be more picture of more Midgets and Sprites.
