Now that the pedal box is modified to fit the master cylinders, it was time to make sure they had enough travel to operate the brakes and clutch.
I also make a lid for the pedal box out of the old lid.

1. Here is the pedal box as it sits. |
|

2. This is the old lid. The strap was for mouting the coil, but I don't need that anymore. |

3. Here it is with the strap removed. |
|

4. Cut for the outer half, now ready for the step up. |

5. I used the rest of the original box and some extra sheet metal I had lying around to finish the lid. |
|

6. Pedals with new proposed cuts for travel clearance. |

7. Pedals as they sit with some tracing onthe firewall for cuts. |
|

8. More travel, but not enough. |

9. A view inside the box. . |
|

10. First relief cut. |

11. Now from the inside. |
|

12. Got some more clearancing and pedal modification, but it's better now than it was. |

13. You can see how the travel has improved. |
|

14. More added to the front of pedals so more can be taken off the back. |

15. Just about all the clearance I need for the brakes, will need more for clutch. |
|

16. More building up and clearancing. |

17. Pretty much final inside, Now to close the gaps. |
|

18. A view from the outside of the pedals. |

19. The little boc that I cut up and bent to seal the firewall. |
|

20. Box in place before welding. |

21. Both sealing boxes roughtly in place. |
This took a while to do. I hope I was able to garner enough travel. If I don't have enough, I will have to think about bigger bore master cylinders.
