One last try fitting the AC.
I guess it's silly wanting to have AC in a small British roadster that has easily four times the performance (power, braking, handling)it came with. But being of the ME generation, I naturally want it all.

1. I will have to cut down that protrusion to make a little more room. |
|

2. Here's clearance along the side, with the FWD bracket. |

3. And with the RWD bracket. |
|

4. The two compressors next to each other. It might work with the FWD (right) compressor, with the RWD (left) clutch. |

5. More up and down shot. |
|

6. Pretty much deciding it won't fit, there's the alternator hanging downward, instead of up. |

7. The pulleys don't quite line up. I will either have to modify the bracket, or just get a FWD crank pulley. |
|

8. Here you can see how much it is off. I'd rather get the crank pulley since moving the alternator forward could cause clearance issues. |

9. There might be frame interference, if I don't modify the bracket, so it sits closer to the block. |
|

10. I need to clean up this little stubby still. |
AC isn't going to happen.
At least it's not holding me up from doing the motor mounts anymore.
