I decided the floors were too high which would push my seats even higher.

I had originally designed the floors so that there were little "coves" under each seat to tuck things like mufflers up into. Coves are less important than fitting in the car though.

1. Original floor height. This was when it was flush with the tops of the frame rails.

2. One side cut out.

3. Both sides cut out.

4. Here's a floor half out of the car. I welded up the seam better.

5. Passenger side tacked back in.

6. Shot showing the floor flush with the bottom of the rails.

7. Drivers side tacked in.

8. Both sides in, the give an idea of how it will be set up.

I went back after this and welded up the seam all around for a solid fit.

Next issue will be making my shifter relocation piece so I can make my trans tunnel and mount my seats.
