Some more Motor Mount work
A little structure repair, and some shots of the motor mounts.
1. Before getting started I had to repair some damage done by the winds. |

2. What led to the failure was this tube snapping off. |
3. And this tub reciever being ripped off. |

4. A little welding and a new cover later, and everything is back together. |
5. Driver's side modified motor mount. |

7. My dad took them to work, cut them, and welded plates on closer to the engine. |

8. Previously they stuck out too far, and had the wrong kind of mount. |
9. Here are the two next to eachother. |

10. These are the arms we will be using to go from the frame to the motor mounts. |
11. I had to notch this one to clear the oil filter assembly. |

12. And the other side. The white lines are marked level to show where to weld on the other part of the mounts. |
13. This is the ingenious strap leveling system my dad came up with. |

14. Here is how I will make the templates for where to cut the tabs. |

I forgot to take pictures of the mounts welded together, but I guess that can wait till next installment.
