The Midget will be getting more power, and stronger suspension, so obviously, the unibody needs to be strengthened.

So the bottom needed to be stripped. Here are some pics of it on the rotisserie.

1. Here is the front suspension up front just prior to being removed.

2. Found some bondo. Apparently the front of the rear passenger side wheel well got crunched.

3. The whole edge and point was reconstructed. I never knew until now.

4. Here's half of the bottom stripped. I used chemical stripper and a scraper on it first, and then a grinder with a cup brush.

5. Half cleaned and primed. Wouldn't want it rusting. I left the three screw in snaps on this side, and I regretted it.

6. Here's what the edge looks like with all of the bondo off.

7. Another shot of the edge. The damage goes a ways. I am thinking I should get the repair panel from Moss.

8. One more of the edge. The repair panel only costs $21.95.

9. Again, the bad edge. It separated from the rest of the car a bit, which is good because the rest of the car looks straight.

10. Here is what the inside should look like. No screw holes.

11. This is what the bottom edge should look like. The other side is missing the drain hole too.

12. Another shot of what the edge should look like. The black specks you see are from undercoat scrubbed off going everywhere.
I guess this is as good a time as any to start learning body working stuff.
