This update comes 3ish months from the last one because of business at work, a broken plasma cutter, new car stuff, and house hunting.
I get to install the rear coilovers and finish cutting the other rear fender.

1. I get to use my highly advanced circular cutting jig. |
|

2. Here is the setup mark I made to help follow when I cut. |

3. Here is the suspension plate. I have to cut and rebend the plate to clear the new subframe. |
|

4. Here you can see why it no longer fits without modification. |

5. The notches show where I plan to bend. They might look like they are in the wrong spot in the previous pic, but they are not. |
|

6. I started my cut, but you can see that. |

7. The cut is rough because I needed a new tip for the new(used) plasma cutter I bought. |
|

8. Here's the plasma cutter I bought. It's lighter gauge, but has its own compressor. |

9. I cut all around, and started my access cuts to get at the inner panels. |
|

10. And the panel all cut out. |

11. From the other side. |
|

12. This side was moved back the same distane as the other side. |

13. The coilovers put on. |
|

14. The coilovers on both sides. |

15. From the back. |
|

16. Sighting down the car, you can see the suspension front and rear. |
Feels good to work on it again. I would have bent the suspension plate except I realized that I didn't haev a firm way to mount it to do the bending. Soon, and hopefullt more work soon as well.
