The driveshaft was going to have to be a custom piece on this car. Nissan engine and transmission, and Jaguar rear end. I went with ShaftMasters for the custom driveshaft. They came well reccomended from the Nissan entusiast community.
The front yoke on the Nissan driveshaft uses non serviceable u-joints, so I got one that used 1310 joints front and rear.

1. The Jaguar transmission yoke was going to be fun to find a replacement for. Turns out the lost time and shipping to the driveshaft maker made it make more sense to get a new yoke. |
|

2. The flange yoke says it is part number F2-2-GB371, which I wasn't able to find any refernece to online. |

3. Taking the pilot size, bolt pattern, u-joint series, and distance from flange to u-joint center I was able to figure out that it interchanges to a spicer 2-2-329. |
|

4. Transmission, plus yoke, plus the measurement from seal to rear end flange is all you need to order the shaft. |

5. This is the space the shaft will take up. |
|

6. This is the package that the shaft arrived in. |

7. The new shaft. |
|

8. Driveshaft in place, looks beefy. |

9. They said I probably wouldn't be able to use my dust shield, but if I trim about a quarter inch off it will work. |
I'm glad I got that out of the way. I will now be able to work on the back sheetmetal.
