1. This is the front part of the driver's side bumper reinforcement rail. You can see a cut has already been made. |

2. First, I cut out the top of the rail, hoping to get access to the inner rail. |

3. The cut goes about as far back as I could get a sawzall blade. |

4. You can see where the front part was originally removed in order to fit chrome bumpers. |

5. This is a top shot. You can see how the spot weld strip has already come off. |

6. Prying back the top of the outer rail. |

7. More of the same. |

8. One more. |

9. This is what the passenger side looks like now. |

10. A pile of the smaller pieces of metal cut out. |

11. Here is the front panel removed. |

12. From the top. |

13. The outside of the passenger side. It got torn up a little bit, but can be repaired. |

14. A little closer. |

15. The inside. |

16. Driver's side. It got pretty messy. |

17. Inside passenger side. |

18. Inside driver's side. I need to remove a piece or two of metal still. |

19. The empty interior. I have yet to remove the windows. |

20. Just like the removable bit, the driver's side got chewed up a bit. |

21. The passenger's side is a bit clearer. |

22. Nice, big and empty. Ready for a nice engine. |

23. You can sight down the transmission tunnel to the rear axle. |

24. You can see the fuel feeder tube, and speedometer cable hanging in the opening. |

25. The pile grows. |

26. I stripped a spare rear rubber bumper rubber, and we will be using it a the rear rotisserie mount. |

27. Ever wondered what the rubber bumpers looked like inside? |

28. Looks somewhat like some modern bumpers do inside. |

29. These metal strips were riveted to the metal bumper holding the rubber one on. |

30. Getting ready to remove the windscreen. |

31. Two of the bolts holding the windscreen on are at the base of the central support rod. |

32. The other bolts are located, two on each side, near the doors. |

33. Once the six bolts are out, the windscreen simply lifts out. |

34. The wipers, door windows, and wind wings are next. |

35. There is a wire spring clip that holds the wipers on. It can be carefully pried off with a flathead screw driver. |

36. Be careful or you will jab your hand. |

37. In this shot, you can see the two windscreen support bolts. |

38. And the wipers are off. |
