Here are pics of one time I removed the dash It's not very comprehensive, nor does it actually show any removal. Kinda crappy actually.
These next shots are about gauges.

1. The speedo, fuel gauge, my keys, and the ever present knit cap. |
|

2.The back of the tach. It never hurts to take shots of stuff that may be difficult to reconnect. Note the extra ground wire (red with blue crimp on connector). It helps keep the gauge from jumping around when the lights are on. |

3. Here's the dash area where the gauges go. The last gauge is a pain. Its the oil pressure and temperature gauge, which has actual tubes that go into the engine compartment and make it more of a pain in the ass. |
Here are some shots showing what it looks like behind the dash.

1. The right hand side where the wiring loom comes through the bulkhead. You can see the voltage regulator, and my extra (electrical taped red wires) reverse light switch wires. They are there because the existing wiring had a fault. |
|

2. The center portion over the radio box. You can see connectors that eventually go to the steering column. |

3. The area to the right of the steering wheel. You can see a bunch of bulbs, and a mess of wires for the gauges. |
|

4. The area to the left of the steering wheel. More connectors, and some sealing compound is visible where the loom passes through the bulkhead. Look close and see the cut wires. |

5. Lastly, right up where the dash bolts in. |
I didn't take many pictures, but this may help someone.
