7. The heater, and I guess the battery should come out too. |

8. You can see the GM alternator conversion that I later abandoned bottom right. |

9. This shot clearly shows both battering rams, and spring mounts for the bumpers. |

10. These bolts are inside the fender down at the front under where the spring brackets are. |

11. These are the top fender mounting screws. They tend to round off. I should get allen or hex head bolts instead. |

12. This one has to come out too. |

13. These two are inside the driver and passenger footwell, under the trim panels. There is another one just below them inline, and one way upfront. You can see the factory sealer still on them. |

14. One side completely off. That tan color is the original primer used at the factory. |

15. This is the last bolt location. It is accessed from inside the engine compartment. It's kind of hard to find if you don't know about it. |

16. Shows the four mounting holes inside the footwell. |

17. General front suspension shot. |

18. Both fenders off. |

19. Both fenders off from the back. |

20. Now from front. You can see the electric fan I had at the time. |

21. The radiator needs to come out, and that fan needs to come off. |

22. Front shot through the radiator opening. |

23. These two bolts need to come out under the car. There are two more, one on each side of the tunnel, inside the car. |

24. Now to pull the engine, this is a partially out shot. |

25. Engine and tranny from below, starting to come out. |

26. This is the top of the tranny after thirty some years of use. Nassty! |

27. Another shot. Nasty dirty, and what is that lameo breather thingy? |

28. Mostly out. Just needs some lifting at the front. |

29. A better prospective shot. That's the first time it's been out of there ever, I think. |

30. Out of sequence shot, starting to lift. |

31. This is why the fan has to come off. That panel there gets bashed a bit when the engine comes out. |

32. This is the rear tranny mount inside. That what the tunnel and under-car bolts attach to. |

33. And here it is out, and sitting on the hoist. |

34. I wiped the crossmember well. Note how much cleaner it is than the frame rails. Also, that's the original color of the car. |

35. It looks lonely. |

36. Empty and lonely. No worries, the engine will soon be back. |
