This is from when I rebuilt the carburetor. The dodge was running poorly.

1. Front view still on the dodge. Looks pretty dirty, and the front venturis look burned.

2. Passenger side still attached. You can see the choke linkage.

3. Drivers side. The linkage looks kind of improvised.

4. Linkage from the top with the throttle unhooked.

5. First view of the carb detatched.

6. Looks pretty dirty.

7. Still looks dirty.

8. Looking down inside. It's burned and dirty.

9. It's an Edelbrock carb, but it's marked weber on the side.

10. Marked 1405 2141.

11. 1405 ID's it as an edelbrock performer 600cfm with manual choke.

12. You take off these cover plates.

13. And these little pistons pop up.

14. And out. They have needles attached to them.

15. And have springs pushing them up.

16. Here are the holes the needles seat into.

17. This linkage operates the acceperator pump.

18. This is the lever that opeates the pump.

19. This is where the inlet goes in.

20. You take the two halves apart by removing these screws.

21. And this one.

22. And these.

23. And this one. It holds also the choke bracket on.

24. This linkage keeps the two sides together when you try to take it apart.

25. Screws out, ready to come apart.

26. Here it comes.

27. Underside of the top part of the carb.

28. The bottom half. look at that junk in the fuel bowls.

29. A better view of the jellied gas and dried gas chunks in the bowl.

30. Even more junk in this side of the fuel bowl.

31. Look how burned the front area looks.

32. These are the accelerator jets

33. This is the float pivot pin.

34. It just pushes out, and is normally retained by the carb body.

35. This little thing is the part of the valve that hte float closes.

36. One of the floats out of the carb.

37. The float valves come out with a flathead screw driver.

38. And they have little filters on them.

39. More of the junk inside the float bowls.

40. All cleaned up and being put back together.

41. From the top with the venturis back in.

42. Oops, I left this out. It goed under the rear venturis.

43. A shot with it back in.

44. Back in and open.

45. All back together.

46. The front part is the choke butterfly. It looks dirty, but is just stained.

47. Here is where the carb goes. The manifold has a big open square, this is the converter.
I took it apart, gave it a good clean, replaced some parts, adn the dodge runs much better.

Good enough to get to the DMV for registration anyway.
